Our “First Aid – Choking” tutorial provides guidance on how to effectively handle a choking incident until medical professionals can take over. Please note that this course does not meet the requirements for first aid or CPR certification.

By the end of this “First Aid – Choking” course, you should be able to:

  • Identify signs of a partial airway blockage.
  • Understand the signals of a complete airway blockage.
  • Know how to act in the event of a partial airway blockage.
  • React appropriately to a complete airway blockage.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION


Estimated time of completion is 10 minutes

PASS MARK

Throughout this online course, testing is executed to reinforce the lessons learned. A minimum score of 80% is needed to obtain a certificate of completion. If the passing score is not achieved, participants can retake the course up to two times.


CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
