This online course is an OSHA-compliant training for Excavation and Trench Safety Competent Person (OSHA). The course satisfies the OSHA’s mandate for competent person safety training. You’ll be subjected to quizzes throughout the course to prepare you for the final examination. Upon successful completion of the Excavation and Trench Safety Competent Person (OSHA) course, you’ll be able to access and print your certificate, test results, and a checklist that your employer can use for field observation purposes.

Throughout the Excavation and Trench Safety Competent Person (OSHA) course, you will be tested to reinforce the content taught. To earn the certificate of completion, you must score at least 80%. If this score is not achieved on the first try, you have the opportunity to retake the course twice.
Once the course is successfully completed, you can download and print a certificate of completion.
