COURSE OVERVIEW

The Excavation and Trench Safety Competent Person (CAN) is an online training program developed to meet Canada’s regulatory requirements. This course will equip you with expertise in excavation safety procedures. Interactive quizzes interspersed throughout the course will aid in preparing for the final written examination. Upon completion, you will have the means to download and print your test, certificate, and a checklist for your employer to observe your progress in the field as necessary.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Estimated time to complete: 90 minutes

PASS MARK

This online course utilizes testing throughout to reinforce the lessons taught. A minimum score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. If necessary, participants are allowed two attempts to reach the pass mark.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful conclusion of the Excavation and Trench Safety Competent Person (CAN) course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
