Eliminating Biases in Conflict De-Escalation Techniques – The first step to de-escalate conflict effectively is to approach the situation with a clear mind and an unbiased perspective. This installment of our video series will guide you in identifying and eliminating any prejudices or preconceived ideas that could potentially hinder your ability to engage in a level-headed discussion. Active Listening in Conflict De-Escalation Techniques – Mastering the art of listening to others is arguably the most crucial technique for de-escalating conflicts. This video educates you on what active listening entails, and also what it does not involve, with a few humorous examples to boot. As listening involves non-verbal cues, we have incorporated other non-verbal techniques as well. This video is so jam-packed with information, you might be left wondering how it didn't burst at the seams! (Spoiler alert: we didn't have the budget for that kind of special effect.) Enjoy!
