COURSE OVERVIEW

Confined spaces are omnipresent, spanning across various industries and are as distinct as the people who inhabit them. They encompass areas such as grain silos, sewers, cargo tanks, engine rooms, storage lockers, crawl spaces, tunnels, access-ways, wells, cellars, vaults, trenches, and even certain rooms within standard buildings.

The Confined Space – Awareness Training (OSHA) course is structured to emphasize general safety measures and supply insights that will enhance your ability to identify potential confined spaces. It aims to expand your understanding of safe operations, thereby ensuring the safety of both you and those around you. The course will delve into the various equipment necessary for secure entry and exit, and the work executed within.

This training adheres to OSHA’s stipulations for the classroom component of operator safety training.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Estimated time of completion: 2 hours

PASS MARK

To reinforce the materials taught, quizzes will be administered throughout the Confined Space – Awareness Training (OSHA) course. A score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not initially achieved.

On successful completion, participants will be given a checklist that can be utilized by their employers to conduct the necessary practical observation.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

After successfully completing the Confined Space – Awareness Training (OSHA) course, participants will be able to download and print a certificate of completion.
