COURSE OVERVIEW

The core objective of this safety course, titled “Capacity, Deflection, & Height” is to empower learners with knowledge to discern scaffold dangers, understand the responsibilities of a “Competent Person,” outline the rudimentary scaffold prerequisites, apply fall prevention measures and guardrails, and elucidate the requirements for employee training.

  • Explain the importance of Capacity, Deflection, and Height in scaffold safety 
  • Summarize the calculations for safe scaffold Capacity, Deflection, and Height.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Estimated to be 7 minutes

PASS MARK

Assessment is carried out throughout the course. Test questions are designed to reinforce the information presented and must be completed by each participant. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Each participant is allowed to repeat the course three times if the course pass mark wasn’t achieved on the first attempt.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have the option to print a certificate of completion through the learning management system.
