Biological Hazards (CAN)

This Canada-compliant safety training course is designated for anyone who might come into contact with biological hazards. Included in this training are topics such as microorganisms, fungi, plants, insects, and animals. This course fulfills the classroom requirement for occupational safety training and includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use for a practical evaluation. Upon finishing, trainees can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of completing the Biological Hazards training. NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements may differ by state or province. Please consult local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.

COURSE OVERVIEW


Our Biological Hazards safety training course adheres to OSHA standards, and our online version meets OSHA’s classroom training requirement. Each section covers microorganisms, fungi, plants, insects, animals, and more. This course incorporates periodic practice quiz questions to ready trainees for the final written exam included with the course. Alongside the written exam, this course features a checklist for employers to utilize when conducting a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.

Estimated Training Length: Individual learning and progress speeds vary, hence the duration of this training will differ. However, the estimated time for this training is between 1.5 to 2 hours.
