Injuries at the workplace are not only expensive but also predictable and avoidable. Our online Behaviour-Based Safety course aims to increase the alertness towards potential hazards and equip individuals with the necessary tools to amend hazardous behaviours before they lead to workplace injuries.
Injuries in the workplace are a significant concern, both in terms of human suffering and financial repercussions. The annual reports of workplace fatalities and severe injuries in Canada and the United States continue to escalate. Yet, investigations into these incidents often reveal that the majority are predictable and avoidable.
Our online Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) course is meticulously crafted to enhance alertness towards potential hazardous situations and impart essential tools to modify hazardous behaviours before they lead to workplace injuries. Upon completion of this course, participants are expected to understand the factors that influence behaviour, the impact of different types of consequences on behaviour, the process of habit formation and deconstruction, the concept of Behaviour-Based Safety, the four-step process to behaviour modification, the characteristics of an effective safety culture, and strategies to enhance the safety culture within an organization.
