The Bear Awareness Online course is designed to equip you with the knowledge necessary to navigate bear country safely. Besides understanding the general traits and behaviors of bears, the course will teach you how to identify and respond to both defensive and non-defensive bear encounters, ensuring your safe return home.

The course’s duration is approximately 60 minutes
Testing incorporated in this Bear Awareness Online course is aimed to solidify the knowledge dispensed. A minimum score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. If the pass mark is not attained, participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice.
Upon successful completion of the Bear Awareness Online course, a certificate of completion will be downloadable and printable.
