This course is designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills to ensure a safe working environment free from violence, threats, and harassment. In organizations that interact with the public on a regular basis, employees may face situations involving unpredictable behaviour. This course covers the entire spectrum of workplace violence with a particular focus on how employees can recognize, diffuse, and respond to potential violence in the workplace.
This BCMSA Prevention of Workplace Violence course is designed to emphasize the importance of a work environment that is conducive to safety, free from violence, threats, and harassment. It is especially relevant for employees who interact with the public regularly and may be exposed to unpredictable behaviour.
In the course, we will explore the entire spectrum of workplace violence. We will focus on how employees can recognize the signs of potential workplace violence, how to try and diffuse the situation, and how to respond if it unfortunately does occur.
The BCMSA Prevention of Workplace Violence course is designed to be completed in approximately 60 minutes.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
