This OSHA-compliant online training course is specifically designed for basic riggers and signalers. The Basic Rigger and Signalman (OSHA) course provides a comprehensive introduction to rigging, equipping trainees with the knowledge to determine load weight, understand sling angles and stresses, identify the center of gravity, utilize basic hitches, identify different sling types, use lifting hardware, recognize below-the-hook-devices, and master verbal communication and hand signals. Trainees will undergo quizzes throughout the course to help prepare for the final written examination. Upon successful completion of the Basic Rigger and Signalman (OSHA) course, trainees will receive a certificate and a checklist that can be utilized by employers to oversee the practical observation.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

The main aim of the Basic Rigger and Signalman (OSHA) course is to assist employers or operators in completing OHS-approved rigger and signalman training and maintaining appropriate documentation.
