The Asbestos Awareness in Canada course offers a detailed overview of safe work protocols when handling or being around materials containing asbestos. This course will impart knowledge on the nature of asbestos and its various applications. The common types of asbestos found in workplaces and the diseases associated with asbestos will also be discussed. By the end of the Asbestos Awareness in Canada course, participants will recognize the significance of reporting potential asbestos-containing materials and will be aware of the prerequisites before initiating work around these materials.
Kindly note that this is an awareness course. Only those who are qualified should engage in work involving asbestos-containing materials.
The Asbestos Awareness in Canada course is designed to be completed within approximately 45 minutes.
To pass the test, a score of 80% is required, and students will have two opportunities to achieve this.
Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate will be available for printing or download.
