The Alberta Provincial Hours of Service course provides a comprehensive overview of the rules a driver must adhere to under the Alberta provincial hours of service regulations. These rules are designed to prevent fatigue and ensure the safety of commercial transport operators and the general public on the road.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Alberta Provincial Hours of Service course provides an in-depth understanding of the regulations that drivers are required to observe under the Alberta provincial hours of service rules. These laws aim to control fatigue and secure the safety of those involved in commercial transport and the general public on the road. 

After successfully finishing this course, the participant will have a comprehensive understanding of work-shift limits, exceptions to these limits, paperwork requirements (form and manner), the 160 KM radius exemption, and the responsibilities of the driver.

This course aims to provide participants with a deep understanding of the rules that govern them and how to effectively apply them.

PASS MARK

To complete the Alberta Provincial Hours of Service course, a score of 80% must be achieved. If the participant does not pass on the first attempt, they have the opportunity to retake the course once.

Upon achieving a passing score in this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
