This course will provide a comprehensive understanding of how to manage potential exposure to airborne or blood-borne pathogens, helping to protect the health of your workforce. The focus will be on identifying the airborne diseases TB & Flu, both of which are covered in our Airborne Diseases: TB & Flu curriculum.
The online course, Airborne Diseases: TB & FLU includes the following subjects:
- Understanding the traits and risks of a significant airborne disease: TB
- Understanding the traits and risks of a significant airborne disease: Flu
Estimated time of completion: 7 minutes
Testing of understanding is performed throughout the course. The test questions aim to strengthen the acquired knowledge and must be finished by every participant. A score of 80% is necessary to obtain a completion certificate. Each participant has up to three attempts if the required pass mark is not achieved at the first try.
Successful participants will have the capability to print a completion certificate via the learning management system.
