The "Severe Weather and Outdoor Work" lesson is designed to help you understand safety measures during extreme weather conditions. It is the first part of a comprehensive three-lesson course that also includes Tornado Preparedness and Hurricane Preparedness. This lesson will educate you about different types of severe weather and how you can safeguard yourself and your colleagues from potential hazards.
Course Topics:
1. Understand the concept of severe weather and the hazards associated with different severe weather conditions.
2. Identify measures you and your employer can implement prior to, during, and after a storm to protect you and your colleagues from potential weather-related hazards.
Estimated to be around 20 minutes
Participants are required to secure a score of 80% or higher to earn a completion certificate. The course can be retaken twice if the pass mark is not attained.
Upon successful completion of the "Severe Weather and Outdoor Work" course, participants can download and print a certificate of completion.
