Gas Monitor Competence Training – MultiRAE and RAE Systems Gas Monitors
The course meets the OSHA 1910.146(h)(2) requirements, providing understanding on how to operate Honeywell MultiRAE and the most frequently used RAE Systems gas monitors. This is crucial, as OSHA's Confined Space Entry curriculum does not cover this essential knowledge. In addition, the course serves as a refresher on the risks involved in confined space entry.
This course is intended to complement, not replace, the operating manual that accompanies your product. It's essential to read the manual thoroughly before using the device. The product will only function as intended if used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's directions. Failure to do so could result in the product not working correctly, putting the safety of those who depend on it at risk, and possibly leading to serious personal injury or death.
The Gas Monitor Competence Training serves as an essential requirement, not merely a choice. This is due to the gas detector - the single equipment upon which the worker's life relies - is NOT COVERED in the OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum.
