COURSE OVERVIEW

This session will guide you through various chemical hazards that one might come across in their working environment, the role of your employer’s hazard communication strategy in keeping you informed and safe from these threats, and the definition and elements of a Safety Data Sheets (HSI).

COURSE TOPICS

1. Elaborate on the three types of chemical hazards

2. Understand the role and significance of a hazard communication plan

3. Understand the role and elements of a Safety Data Sheets (HSI)

4. Identify chemicals and their hazards by means of labels, markings, pictographs, and cautionary practices

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Roughly 30 minutes

PASS MARK

Participants must score at least 80% in order to earn a completion certificate. If the passing score is not achieved, participants can retake the course two more times.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for immediate download and printing.
