The skid steer, when utilized properly, is an invaluable device critical to various industries and businesses. Conversely, when it is misused by an overzealous or uninformed operator, the skid steer can rapidly become a lethal risk. In our Skid Steer Safety Training course, we aim to provide you with the fundamental knowledge and guidelines necessary to operate this machinery safely and effectively, while steering clear of common danger zones associated with skid steer operation.
This course is divided into 6 Sections:
- Understanding a Skid Steer
- Safety Aspects
- Pre-Operational Checklist
- Identifying Hazards and Risks
- Principles of Operations and Safe Maneuvers
- Safe Travelling Practices
The course takes roughly 45 minutes to complete
Students must achieve a score of 80% or higher to pass. Three attempts are permitted to reach this score.
A certificate is awarded once the course is successfully completed.
