Intermittent practice quizzes are included in this presentation to prepare trainees for the final written exam that is a part of the course. For practical exams as mandated by OSHA, a checklist is provided for employers.

Estimated Training Length: Since learning pace varies among individuals, the time spent on this training will also differ. However, the training is expected to take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Course Goals:

  • Grasp the significance of a pre-shift inspection and how to conduct one
  • Comprehend the components and operations of walkie stackers
  • Identify and understand how to prevent or reduce common walkie stacker hazards

CEUs:

  • To earn CEUs, completion of this course and a final exam score of at least 80% is necessary.
  • The course contributes 0.2 CEUs.

Standards:

While it’s necessary to familiarize with all other relevant federal, state, and local standards, the Walkie Stacker (OSHA) training covers the following OSHA standards for Motor Graders:

  • 29 CFR 1910.178 – Powered Industrial Trucks
  • 29 CFR 1910.178 App A ANSI B56.1-2020 – Powered Industrial Trucks
