The Radiofrequency (RF) Awareness (OSHA) is a safety instruction course designed to educate telecommunication workers and others in close proximity to RF emitters. The course curriculum covers a range of topics including RF terminology, emitters, detection tools, exposure, site safety, control measures, and personal protective equipment (PPE). This course satisfies the classroom training prerequisite for occupational safety and includes a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct practical evaluations. Upon completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of their Radiofrequency (RF) Awareness training. Note: Only an employer has the authority to certify an employee. Certification prerequisites may vary by state or province. Please verify any additional local occupational training requirements.
The Radiofrequency (RF) Awareness course offered by us is in compliance with OSHA standards and fulfills the in-class training requirement stipulated by OSHA.
This course includes periodic practice quiz questions to prepare participants for the final written exam. Along with a written test, the course incorporates an employer checklist for conducting a practical exam as mandated by OSHA.
