The Infectious Disease Awareness (CAN) course delivers Canada-compliant safety training for individuals potentially exposed to infectious diseases. This training covers key topics such as understanding infectious diseases, the methods of transmission and infection, and measures to halt the spread. This course satisfies the theoretical requirement for occupational safety training. A proficiency checklist is included for employers to conduct a practical evaluation. Upon course completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of their training in Infectious Disease Awareness (CAN). Please Note: Only an employer can certify an employee. Certification prerequisites may differ across states or provinces. Consult local standards for further occupational training requirements.
