This course, designed in compliance with Canadian safety regulations, aims to provide quality safety training for snowcat operators. The curriculum includes a comprehensive overview of the structure and parts of a snowcat, principles of stability, safety procedures during operation, and identification of common hazards. The classroom section of the occupational safety training requirement is fulfilled through this course. It also offers a proficiency checklist for employers to carry out a practical evaluation. Upon successful completion, participants can download and print a certificate or wallet card indicating they have undergone Snowcat training. Please Note: Certification can only be granted by an employer. Certification norms may differ across states or provinces. Please check local standards for any additional occupational training prerequisites.
Our Snowcat training course is designed to be fully compliance with regulations, and our online offering meets the classroom training requirements. The course comprises sections on Snowcat anatomy and components, safe operations, common hazards, and more. During this course, we will examine the basic structure and parts of a Snowcat. This includes the significance of pre-shift inspections and common issues to look for while inspecting your Snowcat before each use.

The ongoing testing in this online course ensures a thorough understanding of the material presented. A score of 80% is required to pass this course. Participants are allowed two attempts to achieve the passing score.
