Besides understanding fire extinguisher operation, the course also delves into the roles and responsibilities of Fire Watch and Fire Wardens. The program consists of 21 informative sections, covering diverse aspects like legislation, equipment, techniques, and common practices.

- 5. Heat Sources-The Sun, Flames, Electricity, Chemical Reaction and Friction
- 6. Oxygen and Oxidizers
- 7. Breaking the Chemical Chain Reaction and Extinguishing the Fire-Fire Extinguishing Methods, Cooling, Smothering, Removing Fuel, Disrupting the Chemical Chain Reaction
