Upon completion of this Hours of Service Limits training course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand that fatigue necessitates drivers to stop operating even if they have remaining legal hours
- Recognize off-duty activities that count as a 10-hour break
- Explain how the 14-hour limit is computed
- Determine which duty status is monitored by the 11-hour limit
- Decide when to apply the 60- or 70-hour limit
- Identify an exception that resets the 60- or 70-hour limit
- Clarify how to meet the 30-minute break rule under the interruption of driving provision
- Distinguish between cumulative and sequential limits

Testing conducted in this online course is intended to reinforce the information presented. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass this course. The course can be retaken three times in an attempt to achieve the pass mark. Printable materials in the form of an in-depth student manual are available. This manual is an excellent resource for future reference and retention of knowledge.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be ready for downloading and printing.
