This course imparts knowledge on effective responses to various medical emergencies such as respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, seizures, fainting, and stroke.
In this "First Aid - Medical Emergencies" course, learners will gain comprehensive knowledge on handling medical emergencies including those resulting from respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, seizures, fainting, and stroke.
After successful completion of this "First Aid - Medical Emergencies" course, learners should be well-equipped with:
- Skills to identify symptoms and execute appropriate responses for cardiac arrest, asthma, and anaphylaxis emergencies.
- Understanding of how to manage high or low blood sugar emergencies.
- Knowledge of how to handle a seizure episode.
- Insights on what to do when feeling faint and how to aid those who have fainted.
- Ability to identify stroke symptoms using the “FAST” method.
