In this “First Aid – Medical Emergencies” course, learners will gain comprehensive knowledge on handling medical emergencies including those resulting from respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, seizures, fainting, and stroke.

After successful completion of this “First Aid – Medical Emergencies” course, learners should be well-equipped with:

Skills to identify symptoms and execute appropriate responses for cardiac arrest, asthma, and anaphylaxis emergencies.
Understanding of how to manage high or low blood sugar emergencies.
Knowledge of how to handle a seizure episode.
Insights on what to do when feeling faint and how to aid those who have fainted.
Ability to identify stroke symptoms using the “FAST” method.
