The Traffic Control (Flagger) course, available online, aims to educate those involved in traffic control tasks about the significance of correct work procedures, strategic placement, and the use of signals and signs.
Upon concluding the Traffic Control (Flagger) course, you will have knowledge of:
- The significance of correct job procedures, physical health, professional conduct, and compliance with clothing requirements.
- The various signs, barriers, flags, STOP/SLOW paddle, and lights utilized on the job site.
- Optimum safety positioning, the ability to gauge traffic speed and density, and regulate it effectively.
- Usual techniques to communicate with fellow flaggers and the public.
- Different types of warning signs, channeling devices, and tapers and their installation methods.

Tests administered during this online course are designed to consolidate the information imparted. A pass score of 80% is needed to secure a certificate of completion. If the pass mark is not met, participants have the option to undertake the course twice more.
Upon the successful conclusion of this online Traffic Control (Flagger) course, a certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed.
This course serves as a refresher and does not offer ATSSA Flagger Certification.
