    COURSE OVERVIEW

    The Fall Protection – Construction course is designed to enlighten all construction industry employees about the essential requirements and proper usage of fall protection, work positioning, fall arrest, and fall restraint systems.

    On successfully completing the Fall Protection – Construction course, participants will gain comprehensive knowledge on:

    • The importance of using fall protection equipment and receiving proper training on its usage in the construction field
    • Regulations governing the equipment used in work positioning, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems
    • The correct usage of work positioning, fall protection, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems
    • The potential risks associated with falling six feet (1.85 m) or more, both with and without a personal fall arrest system
    • The various components of a personal fall arrest system and their collective functionality to prevent a fall
    • The process of properly inspecting and wearing a full-body harness
    • The guidelines for correctly attaching the connecting device to an anchorage connector, and a vertical or horizontal lifeline

    PASS MARK

    Continuous testing throughout this online Fall Protection – Construction course is aimed to reinforce the knowledge gained. A minimum score of 80% is mandatory to earn a certificate of completion. In case the required score is not achieved, participants can take the course twice more.
