The Defensive Driving Attitudes course is designed to help drivers comprehend and control these elements to preserve rational and objective decision-making abilities while on the road, and to prevent impulsive, discourteous, retaliatory, or other risky behaviors that could result in incidents or complaints. This training significantly reduces the likelihood of incidents or accidents by encouraging drivers to reduce speed, obey traffic laws, and show courtesy to other road users.

Testing carried out throughout this online Defensive Driving Attitudes course is aimed at reinforcing the information presented. To receive a certificate of completion, a mark of 80% must be achieved. Participants have the option to retake the course twice if they do not achieve the pass mark.
