The existence of hazards is universal, but languages are not. With the aim of ensuring safety in workplaces worldwide, regulators are striving to standardize symbols, known as pictograms, in order to convey risks in a consistent way across different workplaces and countries. Our mini-module, Hazard Communication - Pictograms, offers a comprehensive understanding of pictograms and the risks they signify, as they appear on labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
