COURSE OVERVIEW

Formulated by the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators, the National Safety Code (NSC) offers a comprehensive guide for the standardization of regulations across Canadian provinces and territories with respect to motor carriers and drivers. This National Safety Code Overview course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the NSC and its 16 associated standards.

COURSE TOPICS

The National Safety Code Overview course includes the following subject areas:

  • The functions and duties of the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators in relation to the NSC
  • The explanation of carriers and commercial vehicles
  • A detailed overview of the NSC’s 16 standards

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

The National Safety Code Overview course takes around 30 minutes to complete.

PASS MARK

Participants are expected to secure a minimum of 80% to successfully pass this course. Three attempts can be made to achieve the passing score.
