COURSE OVERVIEW

The HAZMAT Labeling online course was created to support facilities in their efforts to adhere to OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120). These regulations necessitate varying levels of employee training based on their interaction with hazardous materials. This course aims to equip employees with the knowledge to understand different labeling systems and their application in minimizing or eliminating potential exposure to hazardous materials in their work areas. Hazardous materials and waste can be found in numerous work situations and job sites. Consequently, it is crucial that employees can identify these potentially harmful substances and are trained in their safe handling and disposal. OSHA mandates comprehensive training in this area for anyone working with these substances.

PASS MARK

Tests conducted throughout the HAZMAT Labeling online course are designed to reinforce the presented information. A score of 80% is required to pass this course. Participants have three attempts to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, which can be printed, is available as a resource for future reference and knowledge retention.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon the successful completion of the HAZMAT Labeling online course, a certificate of completion will be ready to be downloaded and printed.
