The risk of accidents escalates significantly once a worker ascends from the ground level. With over 10,000 reported scaffold-related injuries annually, OSHA has insisted on worker training on safe scaffold erection and usage. This course equips workers with a comprehensive understanding of the hazards associated with scaffold work and how these risks can be mitigated by adhering to correct procedures in erecting, maintaining, and using scaffolding gear. Key areas covered in the course include the role of a scaffold expert, establishing a stable and level foundation, platforms and planking, power line hazards, ramps and walkways, platform hazards, personal fall arrest systems, protection against falling objects, and more.

Testing is conducted throughout this online course to reinforce the information presented. An 80% pass mark must be achieved to successfully complete this course. Participants are allowed three attempts to attain the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, which serves as a valuable resource for future reference and knowledge retention, is available for download and printing.
