It is a byproduct of burning natural substances and is commonly found in gasoline and other fuel types. Benzene is also used in the production of a variety of products such as plastics, detergents, pesticides, and other chemical substances. Despite its pleasant, sweet smell, benzene is a considerable health hazard. Therefore, if your work involves benzene, it’s crucial to understand these hazards and learn how to work safely with benzene.
The “Benzene Safety” course aims to ensure learners:

- Recognize how benzene exposure can occur
- Are equipped with strategies to minimize exposure risks
- Know the emergency and first aid procedures in case of a benzene exposure incident

To successfully complete this course, a score of 80% is required. Participants are allowed up to three attempts to achieve the passing score.
