Workplace injuries, predominantly those affecting the back due to improper lifting, are a leading cause of disability. Injuries to the back can occur in virtually any job role, often severely impacting the individual’s capacity to continue in their professional field and significantly reducing their quality of life. The Back Safety Basics course aims to reduce such incidents by educating employees about the mechanics of the back and teaching essential safe lifting techniques.
Estimated completion time is 20 minutes
The course includes a brief quiz to assess understanding of the Back Safety Basics content. On achieving a score of 80% or higher (within 3 attempts), a certificate will be issued.
Upon successful completion of the online Back Safety Basics course, a downloadable and printable certificate of completion will be made available.
