Workplace injuries, predominantly those affecting the back due to improper lifting, are a leading cause of disability. Injuries to the back can occur in virtually any job role, often severely impacting the individual’s capacity to continue in their professional field and significantly reducing their quality of life. The Back Safety Basics course aims to reduce such incidents by educating employees about the mechanics of the back and teaching essential safe lifting techniques.
