COURSE OVERVIEW

The Pool Safety course equips trainees with the understanding and aptitude to identify, assess, and manage potential risks in aquatic environments. With an estimated 80-100 injuries resulting in time off work for pool staff annually, it is imperative that those employed in this sector can effectively minimize the threats they encounter.

Targeting primarily younger workers, the Pool Safety course aids pool staff in reducing risks for themselves and contributing to the overall safety of others.

BCRSP

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Roughly 120 minutes.

PASS MARK

Testing conducted in this online course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A minimum score of 80% must be achieved to attain a certificate of completion. Participants have two chances to repeat the course if the pass mark is not achieved.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. This course is recommended to be retaken every 3 years from the course completion date indicated on the certificate.
