This Cold Stress Training course is designed to increase awareness amongst employees about the potential dangers of working in cold environments. The course provides detailed insights into the characteristics, symptoms, and treatment of various cold stresses, and outlines precautionary measures to safeguard employees. Although the course does cover instances of immersion hypothermia (exposure to cold water), it does not include information on water rescue procedures.

Testing implemented throughout this online Cold Stress Training course is designed to consolidate the information imparted. A score of 80% is necessary to earn a certificate of completion. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved initially.
