The WHMIS 2015 with GHS (msdsBinders) is an in-depth online course that encompasses all the crucial components of WHMIS 2015. This includes the implementation of the Global Harmonized System (GHS). The course is professionally delivered with interactive checks on knowledge and quizzes positioned after each module of content presentation.
This variant of Chemscape’s WHMIS course is designed for sdsBinders clients. Participants are asked to exhibit the skills to search, locate and open an SDS, and label using the sdsBinders system.
Upon completion of the course learners will be capable of:
- Determining the responsibilities of manufacturers, suppliers, employers, and workers under WHMIS.
- Identifying WHMIS pictograms and understanding the hazards each represents.
- Finding and interpreting information on workplace labels and safety data sheets to safely handle hazardous products.
This will equip users with the necessary knowledge to answer the 5 key questions required for safe product handling, which include:
- What is the product?
- What are its hazards?
- How can the product be handled safely?
- What should be done in case of an emergency?
- Where can more information be found?
Interactive, engaging and informative, WHMIS 2015 with GHS is developed by Chemscape under the supervision of an Industrial Hygienist who holds certification from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.

Estimated duration of 75 minutes
An online final exam comprising 15 multiple choice questions is given at the end of the course. To pass the exam, a score of 12/15 (80%) is required. Each question can be attempted once. Questions are randomly selected for each exam attempt from a pool of questions. If the passing mark is not achieved in the first two attempts, the participant can retake the exam a third time after reviewing the material.
Upon successfully passing the final exam, a completion certificate for this online course is provided, which can be downloaded and printed.
