COURSE OVERVIEW


Our Hybrid Learning Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED course is tailored for individuals who prefer self-paced learning. It consists of two segments: an online theoretical component and an in-person, practical skill-building session.

The online segment covers all the necessary theory that participants need to grasp before attending the practical training session. Each module is comprehensively explained, avoiding complex technical jargon, and includes a convenient quick review section. The online segment should be completed a maximum of two weeks prior to the practical training session.

Upon completion of the online segment, participants are required to get in touch with Rescue 7 to schedule their Day-2 Practical Training session in the Emergency First Aid Theory course.

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Online segment: Roughly 2–3 hours

Practical training session: Roughly 4 hours


PASS MARK


Assessment conducted throughout this Hybrid Learning Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A grade of 80% must be achieved on the online quiz in order to be eligible for a certificate of completion. Participants have the opportunity to retake the course twice if they do not achieve the passing grade on their first attempt. Course materials for this course can be accessed online.


CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION


Participants must bring the online certificate of completion to the practical training session to present to the instructor. During the practical training session, participants must achieve a grade of 50% on the Day-2 Recap Quiz, demonstrate competency in all required skills listed within the instructor's manual, and achieve a grade of 80% on the Day-2 Final Quiz to receive the full Emergency First Aid, CPR & AED certificate. This certificate is valid for 3 years.
