Rigging – Level 1
This updated 2020 Rigging - Level 1 course, based on the latest ASME standards, offers comprehensive coverage of rigging techniques and inspections and dispels common rigging myths. Additionally, students gain access to a wide variety of online competency assessment forms to augment their learning experience.
This revamped 2020 Rigging – Level 1 course, designed in accordance with the latest ASME standards, provides an extensive exploration of rigging techniques and inspections and debunks prevalent rigging misconceptions.
In addition to the Rigging – Level 1 course materials, students are provided with access to a comprehensive selection of online competency assessment forms, further augmenting their learning journey.
The Rigging – Level 1 online course delves into the following subjects:
- Rigging Hardware
- Slings
- Below the Hook Lifting Devices
- Hooks
- Manual Hoists
- Sling Hitches
- Sling Tensions
- Weight Calculations
Estimated at 300 minutes
Assessments are conducted after each module of the online course to reinforce the knowledge imparted. A cumulative score of 70% is required to earn a certificate of completion. If the required score is not achieved in the first attempt, participants have the option to retake the course once.
Upon successful completion of this online Rigging – Level 1 course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and print. The certificate remains valid for a period of three years.
