- The standard operating procedures tailored to avert spills.
- General control strategies to inhibit an oil spill from contaminating navigable waters and adjacent shorelines.
- Elementary steps to halt a spill from damaging the environment
- Basic protocols to respond to facility shutdown and evacuation.

Testing conducted throughout this online “Oil Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC)” course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are allowed the opportunity to retake the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
