COURSE OVERVIEW

Hot Work encompasses any activity that involves working with or in proximity to open flames, sparks, or conditions that could potentially trigger a fire. This Hot Work Program training course aims to enhance your understanding of Hot Work safety protocols, thereby enabling you to prevent accidents and injuries. The course assumes that participants already possess the necessary skills to carry out physical Hot Work activities.

The Hot Work Program course will enable you to identify Hot Work-related hazards, understand how to prevent potential injuries, and learn about the safe operational practices of the Operator, Fire Watch, and PAI. The course also places emphasis on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the different types of hazards, and the crucial role of the permitting process.

PASS MARK

This online Hot Work Program course includes tests designed to reinforce the information provided. To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 80% is required. The course can be retaken twice if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of this online Hot Work Program course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and print.
