Our online Heat Stress course delves into the effects of heat on the human body, the precautions employees can take to avert heat stress, and basic first aid to be administered to a worker affected by a heat-induced illness. Every year, thousands of workers experience the negative effects of heat stress. These workers, who may be working outdoors under the intense heat of the summer sun, or indoors where equipment and machinery emit high levels of heat, need to be educated on how to identify and avoid heat stress and other heat-related health issues.

The online course includes multiple tests designed to cement the information presented. To successfully pass the course, a score of 80% is needed. The course can be attempted three times in an effort to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, available for printing, will serve as a useful resource for future reference and knowledge retention.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.
