The GHS Container Labeling e-course navigates through the six categories of data encompassed in a GHS label, while highlighting the distinctions between GHS labels and other chemical hazard labels. This course has been carefully designed to aid facilities in adhering to the employee training specifications of OSHA’s recently implemented GHS regulations. In this course, we will examine how chemicals must be labeled under GHS. The course content explores the modifications brought by GHS to chemical hazard labeling, text elements of GHS labels, pictograms used in GHS labels, training and phase-in dates, among other topics.
The GHS Container Labeling e-course incorporates the following topics:Â
Estimated time to complete: 45 minutes
Testing is conducted throughout this online course to reinforce the learning material. To pass this course, a score of 80% is required. Participants can take the course up to three times to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, which serves as a useful resource for future reference and knowledge retention, is available for printing.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed.
