This course complements but does not replace the operating manual accompanying your product. It's crucial to thoroughly read the manual before operating the instrument. The product can only perform as intended if used and maintained following the manufacturer's instructions. Otherwise, it could fail, posing serious risk of injury or death to those who rely on it for their safety.
The Gas Monitor Competence Training is a necessity, not a preference, as the gas detector - the one piece of equipment that a worker's life relies on - is NOT COVERED in the OSHA Confined Space Entry syllabus.
