The Fit For Duty – The Basics Course offers a thorough knowledge of the Fit For Duty work model to Employers, Managers, Supervisors, Employees, Contractors, and other individuals involved in safety. It helps them understand why maintaining fitness for duty is essential in the workplace.

COURSE TOPICS

Participants of this course will:

  • Gain an understanding of the Fit For Duty concept and its associated terminology
  • Engage with various scenarios demonstrating the relevance of fitness for duty
  • Learn about the fundamental rights and duties related to fitness for duty
  • Identify different ways an individual can be impaired and not Fit For Duty
  • Understand the significance of Fitness For Duty when driving or operating equipment, including action steps for response
  • Make a commitment to adhere to Fit For Duty principles in their daily work

ONLINE COURSE DURATION

Estimated to be around 25 minutes

PASS MARK

The online Fit for Duty course includes testing designed to reinforce the material presented. To receive a certificate of completion, a score of 80% must be obtained.

Four attempts are allowed if the pass mark is not attained initially.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

On successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion can be downloaded and printed.
