First Aid Fundamentals Course
The First Aid Fundamentals Training course builds confidence to act in medical emergencies. Learners gain awareness of CPR, AED use, choking response, and basic care until professionals arrive. Note: Awareness-level only; no certification or hands-on practice included.
In a medical crisis, the first few moments are vital. This first aid fundamentals training online course helps learners take quick, confident action to reduce risk and protect lives. By the end of training, participants will understand how to recognize emergencies, safeguard themselves and others, and deliver appropriate care.
This course prepares learners to:
- Identify medical emergencies and respond with assurance.
- Apply safe practices, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct a primary assessment of airway, breathing, and circulation.
- Administer CPR and operate an AED effectively.
- Assist during choking response situations and manage severe bleeding.
- Provide care for seizures, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, strokes, and shock.
Recognize protections under Good Samaritan laws when giving aid.
Designed for both new operators and those needing refresher training, this program builds the skills and confidence required to handle boom lifts responsibly and reduce workplace risks.

- CPR & AED for Adults, Children, and Infants
- Choking Response Techniques

Approximately 90 minutes (self-paced).
Learners must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the final exam. Up to three attempts are provided.
A certificate of completion is awarded after passing the final assessment.
