Through extensive analysis of incidents involving commercial vehicles, the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) found that improper loading and securing of cargo is more likely to result in a crash than any other issue. Hence, the DOT has formulated “cargo securement” regulations to provide clear instructions on how various types of cargo should be loaded and secured for safe transport. By utilizing an effective blend of audio, full-motion video, text and colorful graphics, the DOT Cargo Securement course delivers high-quality safety and regulatory compliance training in a cost-effective manner. The course is broken down into several logical sections for easy comprehension and retention. These courses are compatible with any SCORM compliant learning management system (LMS).
