Our Asbestos Awareness program, offered online, is engineered to impart knowledge about the potential risks of working near asbestos.
The Asbestos Awareness training is designed for all personnel who might come into contact with asbestos-containing materials. The purpose of this training is to ensure they can operate safely under these circumstances.
This unique course is crafted precisely to enlighten employees about the potential perils of handling materials that may contain asbestos.
- Hazards of asbestos
- Asbestos Standard
- Composition and nature of asbestos
- Types of materials that may contain asbestos, and where they are encountered
- How to protect yourself when disturbing a material that may contain asbestos
- Air monitoring and decontamination
Roughly 45 minutes
Testing conducted in this online Asbestos Awareness course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved.
Upon successful completion of this online Asbestos Awareness course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and print.
