This OSHA-regulated training course is designed for individuals involved in concrete and masonry work. The course encompasses aspects such as machinery, safe practices, personal protective gear, and potential hazards. This program satisfies the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also incorporates a proficiency checklist for employers to conduct a practical evaluation. Upon completing the Concrete and Masonry Construction training, trainees will have the option to download and print a certificate or wallet card as proof of completion. NOTE: The designation of an employee as certified can only be made by an employer. Certification prerequisites may differ by state or province. COURSE OVERVIEW


Our training course on Concrete & Masonry Construction is designed to comply with regulations, and the online version meets classroom training requirements. Each module includes sections on machinery, secure operations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and prevalent hazards.
In this Concrete and Masonry Construction training, we will explore the different types of machinery and equipment utilized on the worksite. We will delve into secure operations in cement handling, concrete placement, vertical shoring and reshoring, and formwork. We will also discuss safe practices for handling prestressed and precast concrete and lift slab operations. Proper masonry construction procedures will also be covered. Then, we will explore the PPE required in concrete and masonry construction. Finally, we will address the most typical hazards and review case studies to learn how to prevent similar accidents.
This course includes periodic practice quizzes to prepare for the final written test included in the course. In addition to the written test, this course also includes a checklist for employers to use when administering a practical exam as required by OSHA.
